Estate Planning Advisor

Rebekah didn’t find her way to estate planning through a textbook. She found it through life.

She grew up the daughter of a Peace Corps volunteer, civil rights activist, and nurse — and a physician father who approached every problem with quiet precision. Somewhere in that combination, she absorbed something she’s never been able to shake: that caring about people and thinking rigorously about their problems aren’t opposites. They’re the same impulse.

Before joining PJI Law, Rebekah spent years working as a victim advocate, sitting with people in some of the most chaotic moments of their lives, helping them find footing when everything felt unstable. Her work brought her to the attention of the American Bar Association Journal, The New York Times, and U.S. and international media — conversations she entered not as an expert seeking a stage, but as someone who had lived it and felt compelled to speak.

She also went through the probate process herself, long before she had any legal training, and experienced firsthand the stress, confusion, and quiet devastation that good estate planning can prevent. That experience never left her.

Her instinct to stand up for people who needed someone in their corner eventually led her to law school, to publishing a law review article as an undergraduate, and ultimately to PJI Law, where the whole point is making sure families don’t get caught unprepared when it matters most.

Rebekah believes the best estate plan is the one that works quietly in the background, so your family never has to think about it until suddenly they’re grateful it exists. She brings warmth, rigor, and genuine care to every client she works with. Outside the office, she can be found hanging out with fluffy cats, convincing herself she needs a third label maker, and writing songs that are absolutely not about anyone in particular.
