Andrew E. Suddarth
Senior Attorney
Andy was born and raised in Northern Virginia, and grew up in Springfield with a twin brother and two sisters. He spent four years playing college lacrosse at University of Mary Washington, and after college, he began a career as a high school history teacher at his alma mater, Annandale High.
A few years later, Andy earned a law degree from American University. During summer breaks, he gained hands-on legal experience as an intern with the Office of the Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney and other legal organizations. After graduating from law school, Andy transitioned into a legal career in civil litigation, serving for several years as an insurance defense attorney, followed by some time representing plaintiffs in civil matters. As an attorney, Andy draws from his past experiences, bringing the competitive drive from his days as a college athlete into every one of his client matters. Andy also strives to build a trusting relationship with each individual client and to reach the best possible outcome for them, just as he would work hard to lead each individual under his care to success during his teaching days.
Andy lives in Burke, Virginia with his wife, Bernice, and their five children. When not in a courtroom, Andy is actively involved in coaching youth lacrosse and volunteering on nonprofit and community Boards of Directors.
